Peter Ostrum Teeth during Charlie Bucket From Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory has attracted quite a bit of funny reaction from the fans. Let”s see what the fuss is all about.

Peter Gardner Ostrum is a former child actor and veterinarian from the United States. He played Charlie Bucket in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

When talent agencies picked Ostrum for Willy Wonka, he was 12 years old. Though he enjoyed the experience of filming, he decided not to accept a three-film deal after it was completed.

What Happened To Peter Ostrum Teeth – What’s Wrong?

If you take a close look at Peter Ostrum Teeth in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, you may see that he has quite developed front teeth, but the back teeth are underdeveloped.

Moreover, he has quite shart-like small teeth in the upper left side of his teeth.

Peter Ostrum and the girl who played the spoilt gum-chewing brat Violet Beauregard also faced a few tooth problems.

Nickerson claims that forty years after she inflated like a blueberry in front of our eyes, she had 13 cavities in her teeth due to all the gum she was forced to consume.

‘t was Bazooka gum since they didn’t have sugarless gum back then…. 13 cavities she had she told TMZ.

Why did Peter Ostrum Quit Acting?

Best Life indicates that Ostrum abandoned acting because he fell in love with another job.

Ostrum informed the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) that acting is not the “glamorous profession” that many people believe. It is, in fact, a “tough career.”

The company was ready to offer the boy a three-movie deal when production was completed on the picture, but he declined.

When Ostrum returned home from the film set, he learned that his parents had purchased a horse for the family, and he loved seeing the veterinarian operate on the animal.

He says that “it left a great effect” on him, and the incident eventually encouraged Ostrum to pursue a career as a veterinarian himself.

Where Is Peter Ostrum Now?

Ostrum worked in Lowville, New York, as a veterinarian at the Countryside Veterinary Clinic (mostly with horses and cows) and as a managing partner with Dairy Health & Management Services as of August 2019.

Ostrum also participated in Veterinarians on Call, a Pfizer-sponsored film series highlighting the work of big animal veterinarians.

Ostrum and several of the film’s co-stars were set to record an audio commentary for a special edition DVD in October 2000.

Wonka co-star Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregarde) confirmed in a 2010 interview that Ostrum had agreed to join her and Paris Themmen (Wonka’s Mike Teevee) for a reunion marking the film’s 40th anniversary in 2011.
