UPDATE: Daniel Kosek Colorado Cold Justice Case – What Happened To Him?

Daniel Kosek is the husband of Kittie Koseck, a 34-year-old mother of six, a victim of the Colorado Cold Justice case, who died in 1993.

Kittie’s loss sent shockwaves of anguish through a family for decades. Kittie, along with three of her five daughters, allegedly underwent horrible torture at the hands of her husband, Daniel, and nearly no one believed her.

In 2019, Kelly Siegler of Oxygen’s “Cold Justice” traveled to Crowley County, Colorado, to assist local officials in their re-investigation of Kittie’s case, and what she discovered astounded her to the core.

Daniel Kosek Murder Case: Is He In Jail?

Daniel Kosek has not been charged with the murder case, and he is not in jail. The case is currently being investigated by the Crowley County District Attorney’s Office.

Although Daniel was never accused of his wife’s death, Kittie’s friends and children have refused to accept that she would have killed herself. Her daughters informed detectives that she was getting ready to leave Daniel and was determined to improve herself.

Many of the reasons Daniel may have had for killing his wife could also have been reasons she would have wanted to commit suicide, according to Siegler. According to all accounts, the marriage was unpleasant, and Kittie was having an affair.

Did Daniel’s Wife Commit Suicide?

Daniel’s Wife Kittie Kosek reportedly committed suicide in 1993, but the local law enforcement has discovered tales of abuse and evidence which does not suggest suicide.

Kittie reportedly threatened to kill herself a few days before her murder. She pleaded with authorities to find out who killed her.

However, after interrogating Kittie’s daughters, the case became more complicated. Crowley County Sheriff John “Smokey” Kurtz and Crowley County Investigator Tom Cody were joined by Siegler and “Cold Justice” investigator Abbey Abbondandolo.

One of her daughters said that her father mistreated her sexually and “beat the crap out of me.” Daniel allegedly kept her in her room while killing her dog inside the house, according to another witness.
