In July 1980, Helen Mintiks, a violinist in an orchestra performing at the Metropolitan Opera House, did not return to perform in the orchestra pit after an intermission.

Craig Crimmins, Helen Mintiks killer, became an internationally publicized man after exposing the case to the people.

In 1981, a jury convicted Craig of murder, finding that after trying to rape Ms Mintiks, 31, in a stairwell.

It was a cold-blooded murder where he forced her to the roof and kicked her into the shaft.

The jurors rejected the defence argument that Manhattan detectives had pressured Mr Crimmins into falsely admitting he was guilty of the crime.

Craig was sentenced to 20 years to life, making him eligible for parole in 2001.

In an article published in 2014, Craig Crimmins has applied for parole and denied it every two years since 2000.

Crimmins says that after his latest denial, he has, for the moment, given up hope that he will ever be released.

There are no details on his release or death; subsequently, he is likely to wait for justice to grant him parole in 2022.

Helen Mintiks Killer Wikipedia-How Old Was She?

Helen Mintiks was 31 years old when ruthlessly thrown off the shaft after attempting rape. 

Helen grew up on a farm in Canada and loved the violin. Helen’s parents could see that she had a gift for the notoriously difficult instrument.

Where Is Craig Crimmins Now: Is He released In Parole 2022?

According to various sources and prominent news agencies, Craig Crimmins has not been released out of jail. 

Craig had been trying to get parole but was denied by the justice system many times. Nevertheless, there is no news on his death inside the cell yet. 

According to the article published in 2002 and 2014, Craig had been Twice denied parole. Crimmins was then 45, is in the Auburn Correctional Facility in Auburn, N.Y., with his next parole hearing scheduled for November.

He even said that he was sincerely sorry for what he had done, and he wished he could take it back, in 2002. 

According to the transcript of his hearing, Craig said nothing about his confession having been coerced.
